Prepare to pose (questions, that is!).
Yes, you should prepare questions to ask the person with whom you’re interviewing. An interview is an evaluative discussion— between two people. Just as much as the hiring manager is attempting to determine if you’re the right professional for the job, you’re trying to discern if the opportunity is right for you— personally and professionally. That said, ask questions that will provide the information you know you need to make a decision. Specifically, you may want to inquire about growth opportunities, the company’s support of continuing education, as well as work environment and how teams work together.
